Group classes are formed quarterly for Veterans and
First Responders only, who feel that their personal
dog would be able to become a Therapy Dog, or those wishing to
take it a step further and train their own Emotional Support Dog*. Each
dog will be evaluated privately before a session begins. These classes
are not for those wanting strictly obedience for their pets, more for
that special owner and dog who want to give back to those who serve, or
those needing the presence of their dog to bring normalcy back to their
lives. Classes are discounted for
Veterans and First Responders; locations vary around the Metroplex.
Group classes for the public are offered several
times a year, and Veterans or First Responders can always join one of
these classes if they wish.
Classes offered are Obedience, Therapy Dog training, K9 Nose Work, and
more. Classes are discounted for
Veterans and First Responders; locations vary around the Metroplex.
Private lessons are available for those wanting one
time consultations, or anyone who has a privacy issue with regard to the
training of their dog; also those who feel their dog cannot learn
adequately in the presence of other dogs.
Private lessons are discounted for
Veterans and First Responders; most private lessons are held at the
Trainer’s discretion as to location.
*dogs must pass a therapy dog/team test before a
dog is used as a therapy or comfort animal; dog and handler must pass
the Public Access Training test before being
used as or represented as a Service Animal.
